The B.Sc. Clinical Psychology program at MRIIRS is a four-year undergraduate degree that gives students a lot of knowledge about psychology and experience working with patients in real life. Scholarship Programme:
Option to Leave Students who finish three years of the program and earn 132 credits are eligible for a B.Sc degree. This gives them the freedom to move forward in their studies.
After four years (160 credits), you will get an Honours or Research degree.
An Honours or Research degree is given to students who finish all four years and earn 160 credits. This shows that they have received advanced academic and research training.

Yes. The B.Sc. Clinical Psychology (Hons.) programme is approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India. It follows RCI-prescribed curriculum structure, supervised training hours, internship requirements, and competency outcomes, ensuring that graduates meet national standards for entry-level clinical psychology assistants.
On successful completion, graduates become eligible to apply for registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India as Clinical Assistant (Clinical Psychology). This registration formally recognizes their qualification and allows them to work in approved clinical and community mental-health settings under professional supervision.
No. Independent clinical practice is not permitted after this programme. Graduates work strictly under the supervision of licensed Clinical Psychologists. Independent practice requires further RCI-approved advanced training such as a Professional Diploma or M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology followed by appropriate registration.
Students receive supervised exposure through hospital postings, rehabilitation centres, child guidance clinics, schools, NGOs, and community outreach programmes. Training includes observation, basic assessments, psychoeducation, case documentation and participation in mental-health awareness initiatives under the guidance of qualified professionals.
Yes. A supervised internship of three to six months is compulsory as per RCI guidelines. During this internship, students work in clinical or community mental-health settings, complete assigned cases, maintain logs, and receive performance evaluations from supervisors as part of their training.
