Department of Economics

A degree in economics from MRIIRS opens doors to diverse career opportunities. In addition to core courses, our department offers unique subjects like Data Analysis through Computer, Application of Statistical Software, Environment & Resource Economics, Behavioral Economics, and more, taught by experienced faculty.

Students are encouraged to pursue internships, scholarships, and attend workshops, training programs, and industry events. Our teaching methodology combines live field projects, case studies, and expert guest lectures for holistic development. The department also runs ECOnomads, an economics society, and publishes Eco-Bizz, a student-led scholarly magazine. We emphasize ethics, values, good governance, and social responsibility in our curriculum.
