In a significant stride towards advancing drone innovation and skilling youth in emerging technologies, the Program of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, the Aero Vision Drone Lab, powered by AVPL International under the AICTE-AVPL collaboration virtually laid the foundation stone for the drone lab.
The lab aims to equip students with DGCA-certified training, promote industry-academia collaboration, foster innovation in drone applications, and open up career opportunities in UAV technology. The initiative also announced the establishment of 31 Aero Vision Labs across 13 states—including one at Manav Rachna University—and RPTO-certified training centers under government programs such as Namo Drone Didi. AVPL International, a DGCA-certified manufacturer and training provider, brings its Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) model to the academic space, enriching hands-on learning.
This marks a major leap in strengthening India’s drone ecosystem and reinforcing MRU’s commitment to technology-driven, future-ready education.
