Innovative Practices

Unique Teaching Pedagogy: The five major approaches followed during the teaching are Constructivist, Collaborative, Integrative, Reflective and Inquiry Based Learning. The teaching learning strategies are utilized to follow the pedagogy are depicted below:

Certification through NPTEL MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) is regular practice for both students and faculties.

National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a joint initiative of the IITs and IISc.

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and the Indian Institute of Science(IISc) have joined hands with the Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development’s(HRD) through NPTEL, to launch Open Online courses on the massive open online courses (MOOC) model in February, 2014.

NPTEL has been offering online certification for its courses, the highlight being the certification exam through which the student gets an opportunity to earn a certificate from the IITs.
