The Department takes pride in having highly qualified and seasoned faculty members who have produced research papers that have been published in various reputed national and international journals. The faculty members are always available to guide and motivate students, resolve issues within-and-outside academics, demonstrating a healthy student-teacher relation, so that the students are able to realise their potential to the fullest.
Our department is dedicated to providing high-quality education. With programs offered at postgraduate, and doctoral levels, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed and regularly updated to reflect the latest advancements in science and technology, aligning with international academic standards.
Our faculty members are accomplished researchers and passionate educators. They mentor students closely, not only in academics but in developing a broader perspective on how science can drive societal progress. Their research contributions have been published in prestigious national and international journals, and they play an active role in guiding students, both academically and personally, to ensure their holistic development.
Our state-of-the-art laboratories, alongside the cutting-edge facilities at the University Instrumentation Centre (UIC), provide students with hands-on experience that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. We also boast a 10-node parallel computing facility to meet high-end computational needs, further enhancing our research capabilities.
We are proud of our collaborations with renowned institutions such as KIST South Korea, University of Melbourne (Australia), Yamagata University (Japan), Sandia National Laboratories (USA), IUAC New Delhi, NPL New Delhi, and IIT Delhi. These partnerships enable our students and faculty to engage in impactful research and exchange ideas on a global platform.
